Whatever your take on dual clutches is, they're pretty interesting from a mechanical standpoint. Here's what goes into doing a clutch service on a VW 7 speed dry clutch setup. Piece of cake, right?

To be fair, the wet clutch system in the 6 speed DSG is peanuts to service on your own. Really just a glorified oil change. The 7 speeds are more witchcraft.

Co workers heard the music and thought it was porn. Little do they know that I was aroused by the whole video.

It ain't 2008 anymore. 62k later, and mine is still running like a champ. I have friends with well over that mileage on their vehicles too.
